I finally have the info for the MINI car cruise and police escort at the 2006 USGP. The car cruise, which will take us on a speedy escort through downtown Indy escorted by motorcycle police, will take place at 4:30pm. Police escorts are available on Sunday morning at various times. It seems that there are car cruises available on both Friday and Saturday, with the MINI Cooper set for Saturday, regular BMW for Friday, 7:00 p.m. As Saturday is also the MINI picnic, maybe those who want to do both could do so on Friday, in the BMW slot. Also remember, Thursday a.m. is pit lane walkabout, the best feature of the USGP week's festivities (at least it was last year with the FIAsco of a race).

A lot of the MINI's have signed up for the 4:30 Saturday cruise and the start of the picnic/cookout is moving to 7:00, so that would give time to do both on Saturday.
