What's your experience been? I have taken mine there for several things...but none of which were even remotely related to mods.
1. Is your car modded? (silly question, I know, but I just want to make sure)
2. (If modded) When you took it in was it just for an inspection or service and did they still do the inspection or service under the warranty?

Car is modded...see sig...they have done everything under warranty. No problems have been related to any mods. I do have a "funny squeek" from the belt from a 15% pulley that was likely installed improperly...they said they wouldnt fix that. I had a control arm break...it's posted here somewhere...search "broken control arm" they said i must have hit something...and didnt cover that...btw..I didnt hit anything...hope that helps...
Take the plunge and mod that mini...

I'm glad you had a decent "mod" experience from them as well.
I actually took it in last Tuesday. I talked to Cameron (one of the service techs) and he pretty much said that IA understood that there are a lot of awesome mods out there and they would be as open as possible without MINIUSA kicking them. (read: wouldn't get reimbursed from them for warranty repair)
I'm glad our own Milwaukee dealer is open minded and seemingly ok with mods... I'd hate to have to drive somewhere else.
Much better choice is Knauz in Lake Bluff IL or Patrick in Schaumurg IL.
I have a modded '03 MCS (CAI, 15%, cat-back, TB, IC, etc.), and while I was never refused warranty repairs that were completely unrelated to my mods, it was pretty clear that I would be given the bum's rush if I had issues that could in any way be connected to my mods.
I had no problems with Int'l MINI providing the covered oil changes and maintenance service.
Knauz is reputed to be 'mod friendly', but I don't have any first-hand experience with them.
What is a good place (in the Milwaukee Area) to have some Mod work done? I just got my MCS 03 and i started to mod it, but i don't have the tools or the location to really be that "do it yourself" kind of guy...
I'm thinking about putting coils on soon along with a few other things, but i want it done right!
The party was almost a month ago; there's lots of do it yourselfers that I'm sure would be glad to lend you a hand; and I can second the recommendation of Knauz Mod friendly, and service above and beyond any other dealer I've been to.
Just my luck... i ran into a guy with a MCS last night downtown, and he suggested a place called Alpine imports... They are suppose to be able to do any mod you would like them to do...here is a link to there website...
