October 5-6 Details

5th Annual Iowa MINI Fall Tour

Friday, October 5 -- The British Car Club of Iowa 'Run to the River'

8:00 AM: Meet at the Machine Shed in Urbandale for breakfast, followed by a caravan at 9 AM to Omaha with MINI and British Car Club friends. Stops will include a visit to the Iowa Aircraft Museum and lunch in Walnut. MINIs may scoot ahead to arrive earlier. MINI owners will want to be at the Omaha dealership from 3:30 to 5:30 PM for prizes, and other fun.

Saturday, October 6 -- The 5th Annual MINI Fall Tour
11:00 AM: Meet at Panchero’s in NW Des Moines for lunch and head out at 12:00 noon on a scenic and exciting route thru Southwestern Iowa to Omaha. Once in Omaha, we will meet up with the MINIs who arrived on Friday with BCCI. Meet up with be at the Heartland of America Park and Fountain, downtown around 5 PM. We'll enjoy taking photos, sharing stories, and relaxing. Dinner will be at the Spaghetti Works around 7 PM in the old market area downtown. There will be many options for doing or not doing, to meet your preferences.

Sunday, October 7 --
Breakfast is at the Cracker Barrel in Omaha at 9:30 AM, followed by a drive through the “Wildlife Safari”. And for those returning home via I-80, we will stop at the North End Diner in Des Moines around 5 PM. Directions will be provided.
