Greatly appreciate the invite. Still unpacking and working off the honey-do list after our recent move to the area, so no MINI liberty card for me just yet. Hope you have a great turnout.

My wife is down her parents live in Dubuque so well get to visit them as well. Well just have to meet you all At Galena though for lunch since we wont be meeting up in Winnebago
Oh, but your Honey will love Galena, total chick place. But great roads. Where did you move from? Hope you and the Honey can make it.
We're IA ex-pats coming home after 27 years of Navy service and follow-on with a beltway bandit near DC. Most recently, last 12 years living in northern VA (Fairfax County), every year thinking that we'd get used to living our lives around rush hour traffic but it never seemed to happen. :impatient
No such problems in beautiful Decorah (although I fly frequently out of MSP -- and Hwy 52 between Preston and Rochester is so rough I'm certain to lose a motor mount at some point. If MN maintains their bridges like they do their roads... )
It would be fun to make at least one of the Galena days...

Are you guy going through elizabeth? That might be a closer meeting point since Loran is an hour out and then back, but in any case, is there a map of the route available?
We are not going through Elizabeth. Meeting in Loran is totally up to each Iowa MINI. In the link above you will find the link to all the info about the drive and events for the weekend. Route Maps will be handed out at the start of each run. I offer the Loran start for your enjoyment since that will be the longest drive of Sat with the longer routes on Sunday.
9-23-07 UPDATE
Three Important updates, Call the B&B's this week and ASK for one night deals. We will have the Sunday Route Sheets for anyone that wants to drive them on Sat. On Sun we will have 5 group escort's, drivers of different style's that have driven the routes, yes you will have a route map. We think this will help you enjoy the area more with less reading, just follow the MINI in front of you. We found that this worked well in past events.
Looks like nice weather too.
