Wilmas Home

Picked up Wilma today and overall I give MSA a mixed review. Ray was great, the JCW hood scoop looks good(not as good as on a red car though) and the back window is repaired. He also installed the scoop for free and gave me 100 dollars worth of accessories (my choice) for free since they kept it for a week.

However I now have a vibe at 60 MPH and I am hoping it is because I have one brand new run flat with 3 used ones and not the balancing. I am going to give it a week or two to see if it wears in. Additionally it was raining when I picked it up and once I got it home in the garage I noticed slight damage to my rim and a possible scratch by the hood scoop. Might just be too picky but I will look further tommorow. I am sure if I contact them they will repair any damage. He seemed to be an honest forthright person with integrity.

It is amazing how familiar you become with your own vehicle. I felt out place driving the loaner even though it was a Clubman S and once I was back in mine I felt I belonged there.

Shawn

Good Morning bam-bam, glad to hear you have Wilma back home. The many times I've had "Snert" at MSA Ray has always been great to work with. He has always done what he said he would and that means a lot.

Welcome Home Wilma

I'm glad you got everything in order with Wilma, and I am glad MSA did you right; that is extremely important to any car owner. Keep us posted on the issues of the wheel and what looks like a scratch near the scoop.

I know exactly what you are saying concerning being accustomed to how familiar you get with your MINI. JJo and I will drive each other's MINI and it really feels incredibly different.
