Best Tint Installers in Atlanta Area?

Hello All,

I'm new to the forum and am looking for 3M window tint installer in the Atlanta/Decatur area. Anyone have a recommendation?

I'm in the Warner Robins/Macon area, so no, I do not know who to recommend to tint your windows up in Atlanta.

You could ask the MINI dealers who they use up there.

If you ever find yourself on the South side of Atlanta, I got the tint on my last car at "AutoRage" in Fayetteville. It was very reasonably priced and well done. I could get a number for them if you're interested.

I know that the GA state law permits 32% total light transmittance. What are you guys tinting at?

I just got my Ford Focus hatch done there a few months ago. It was $180 for the car. I got 20% tint which was $10 extra, and I really doubt a MINI would be priced much different. The 20% is darker than the legal limit, but it would be very difficult to tell the difference just by looking at it. 5% limo tint is obviously really, really dark. It's a really nice shop, the guy who owns it was friendly, and the work was done well.

Mini of South ATL recommended Hot Spot Tinting up in Marietta. That's where they get all their tinting done.

AFAIK, both local MINI dealers use Hot Spot in Marietta. Everyone I asked that went there said it was great. I'll get it done one of these days

Had my 08 MC tinted by Hot Spot with 5% limo tint on the sunroof(s) and 37% on the side and rear windows. The installer said that, combined with the factory 70-80% tint, the 37% would be legal in the beautiful state of GA (32% transmittance +/- 3%). It looks great so far... they used Global Film hybrid tint on my car for $269 total.
