The Helen trip was awsome! There were approximately 40 MINIs there on Saturday; a lot of people cancelled due to the weather, and the a large group of the Atlanta MINIs went to Helen the weekend before. I am requesting that Middle Georgia MINIs host the event next year with assistance from others in SMALL.
Overall, I give this one an A+
We were invited to tour the Habersham Winery, the owner saw us assembling in the parking lot and wanted us to come in for the tour. The auction raised almost $700.00 for the Speedway Children's Charities, the drive to Dillard had amazing twisties to it, and the camaraderie was excellent. All the groups that participated really made us feel welcome and at home. Lilruffcat with M2C2 did a bang-up job putting things together. I will bring photos (if JJo hasn't published them on the web by then) with me to the next meeting this Saturday. I wish you could have been there.
