Our pals Nick & Shelly (aka ShellyQ) have graciously invited us to have the June 2009 MidCal MINIs meeting at their house on Friday (6/19). Nick's going to be "master of the BBQ" & grilling trip-tip & hotdogs, so all food, water & soda will be provided. If you're going to be drinking, this is a BYOB.
Nick & Shelly have recently finished a complete backyard remodel, pool install, etc. so if you'd like to take a plunge you're welcome to bring your suit & towel. JIMINNImachine that means shorts....no speedos. Since we definitely need a head-count to know how much food & supplies to get, please post here in this thread &/or PM me or Shelly for RSVP. Thank you Nick and Shelly for a truly wonderful evening. The food was excellent, the grilling superb, company fantastic and we could not have asked for better weather. The wind held off until late and the cool down was most welcome. Your yard is fantastic and now I know where I will be holding any future parties, ha ha! Thank you again for hosting a great evening and it was fun to see everyone.
I am on the hunt for a MINI Cooper piggy bank, so let the search begin. See you all the next time.

We agree with everyone. We were having so much fun, no one wanted to leave (poor Shelly and Nick) and we almost talked Tom and Tina into spending the night with them (ha-ha). The home and new yard are just beautiful.

I want to first and foremost say thank you to Nick & Shelly for opening up their beautiful home, we appreciate the generosity. I also wanted to thank everyone who attended and chipped in on the fund raising. We raised a total of 141.00. This will help very much, thank you all! It was great seeing everyone.
