Coin car wash in Moterey or Marina?

Next weekend I am going up to Monterey for the American Le Mans race. Is there a coin car wash in either Monterey or in Marina where I will be staying. After a 5 hour drive I would like to wash my car, so it's nice and clean for the weekend.

There's a good combination hand and machine car wash in Monterey that is reasonably priced and runs a ton of volumn. If yoy're coming from Salinas on Hwy 68 West take the first Central Monterey exit just as soon as you have gotten on Hwy 1 (101). At the first light you'll see a park to you right just on the other side of that light. The next light one block down will allow you only to turn right to go around the park or go staight to town center. At that second ligh on the left hand side is the car wash. Good luck and I wish I could be there this year.

There is a coin car wash on North Fremont near Outdoor world. Also there is El Estero Car Wash too. I think this is the one Cap49 is talking about. http://www.elesterocarwash.com/

I wash mine at home, but El Estero is always popular with the locals. I've heard they do a great job. Their website has some discount coupons and they are full hand only wash. They have the usual vacuum services as well. The coin place on Fremont also has some vacuums behind it as well if you want want to wash it yourself.

Thanks for the info! I'll hit the coin place on Fremont. I never let anyone else wash my car.

The coin car wash on N. Fremont St. worked great! Thanks for the info! The 2nd pic is on G16 between Greenfield and Carmel Valley. G16 is one awesome 40 mile long canyon road. And I left plenty of rubber on it going to and from Monterey!

Thats the one. Used it many a time.

CynMini your car looks really fast and aggressive. Good to hear you used it that way .

CynMini, how were the races that weekend? I could hear them from my house. The local traffic was too bad so I was thinking they didn't get too many spectators.

The races were great! I love this type of racing. Monterey is my favorite place to be! Your right, the crowd wasn't that big, which was ok for me. Although we did bail a half hour before the end of the race to avoid traffic. The only thing I don't like about Laguna Seca is the dirt parking, but that is offset by the warm fuzzy feeling I get when I get to the Cork Screw. I think the historic races draw more people. We should have gotten together while I was there, like hit the Cantina for dinner. I go up there a couple times a year, one for the Historics and another race, next time I'll hit you up so we can get together.
