MidCal Website: Content, Content, Content...Rock some of your ideas!
Hi all:
I'm working on the layout of our new & improved MidCal website. Some of you listed your ideas from the MidCal registration forms & I have a bunch of my own, but I think it's important that we have running dialogue for improvements, latest/greatest/etc. So the point of this thread is for you to share your website content, design & layout ideas. Let the posting begin!!
Our new webpage background's gonna be carbon fiber.
Ideas:
1. Event schedule
2. MidCal member line-up: pictures, build list, etc.
3. Photo gallery
4. Causes club is involved with
5. Custom Mini Shop shop schedule
6. Dr.Steve's corner
My comment is..............................thats where Dr. Steve should be.........................in a corner.
Seriously ........ I'm not internet literate enough to be useful so anything you can do to make the site more useful will be appreciated. Thanks for the time and effort Joe.

No problem Cliff. I'm still muddling around on this project in my spare time. Another way I could pose the website question to MidCal'ers: "what are you looking for on a club website that you can't find on NAM or m|u?"
Sooooo...I know Dr.Steve's been toolin' around on the website for a couple of minutes. Since everyone knows to depend on NAM & my e-mails from the club Yahoo account for status, pictures, etc. etc. I guess we'll take the "slow boat" on this project & we'll get there when we get there.
Thanks for the post Chef! Well, our club thread & my e-mails are the two main post-up areas, so a website might be triple-kill. It's still going to get done mind you, just maybe not the top item in the priority list.
