VitessePro Dyno Tune at Fresno Performance

Hi gang:
I'm in the midst of custom tuning my ECU with Emil from VitessePro & would like to setup a dyno day at Fresno Performance for those who're interested. I'm looking for up to 4 cars to tune (I'm the 5th car). I ran a couple pulls this past Thursday (7/3) at Fresno Performance on their Dynojet #248 & the guys there were great.

In fact, outside of this tune day - Fresno Performance said they'd be happy to host a MidCal Mini's at their facility for a day of fun dyno pulls, BBQ & hanging out. For those interested in this, let me know & I'd be happy to help coordinate.

Emil's been great to work with & said he'd be happy to take the trek to Fresno. Can I get a show of firm hands on people who'd like to do this? I'd like to have this setup & on the calender for sometime in the next month.

Let's get something clear here....
Emil did NOT teach me how to tune....
We have totally different tuning styles

Apologies for the misunderstanding & I'll edit my post. Please note, I didn't make this up off the cuff. I heard this from 5 people in LA independent of each other over a two year period. Obviously both tuners do great work & perhaps the student became the master.

Cliff, part of my conversation(s) with Emil will be a re-run of your car & Jim's to confirm a/f figures. Does this work for you?

this is all entertaining to me... those same people probably claimed I don't have the dimsport legally also You can bet your bottom dollar that those LA people don't have the real info. Plus I haven't even had the software that long Be very careful who you get your info from

Like I have said before
there is NO TUNER IN THE WORLD who has

tuned a stroker car
Rotrex car
Turbo car
and M62 car

Like Chris said..."How Much"
Week day or Weekend? Depending on the "when", I'd go for it.

Umkay, be that as it may. Let's call that part another chapter for a different thread. I would like to keep my thread pertinent to the subject at hand, ie. show of hands for our Central Valley group on dyno tuning at Fresno Performance. Last time I posted about VitessePro it turned into a rock-throwing match & I would thank everyone for staying on topic.

Emil said it's not a problem for him to tune automatic cars (I mentioned this because Ken said he might be down if his non-CVT could be tuned).

For what it's worth, I also tried to promote you (http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...d.php?t=117984) & we didn't get any follow-through (we know you're busy), so we moved to another vendor. So....how about those who want to tune?

Let's start a list, so far we have:
1. Joe/Fracky
2. Jim/JIMINNI - checkup on previous tune
3. Cliff/CAP49 - checkup on previous tune
4. Ken (possibly)
5. ChrisW (possibly)
6. Dr.Steve/SRTech - baseline run only for data-logging

Cost= $400 + dyno time

Check out another VitessePro project (pretty freakin' sweet): http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...d.php?t=146805

Add me to the list......depending on the day. Can't be on the weekend of 8/9 and would love to have it done prior to the HOD/MINI's @ T-hill on the 21st.

Fantastic! Let me check-in with Ken & Chris to see if they're in. If they are, then I think we're at the point I can schedule in Emil & Fresno Performance. C-Money & Ken, can you reply to thread if you're in? Talk to FFR to confirm.

I'm in. Only thing that would stop me could be the date. Ken

Updated list:
1. Joe/Fracky
2. Jim/JIMINNI - checkup on previous tune
3. Cliff/CAP49 - checkup on previous tune
4. Ken
5. ChrisW (98%)
6. Dr.Steve/SRTech - baseline run only for data-logging
7. Willum

I've e-mailed Emil & am waiting for his schedule. Once I know what his schedule is I'll get in-touch with Fresno Performance and then I'll let everyone know the date option(s).
