why did they replace the good parts with a classic mini? To make it more intense? ..that was annoying

For me that was great.

It was a very nice thing to see the old car going hammer & tongs down the rally stage & then switch back to the old boys driving a new MINI on that very road today.

Guess you need to fast forward over those annoying bits.
