Mini Coupe?

Just released pictures of the Mini with a hair peice released today!

http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/News/Se...r-way-in-2011/

I say it needs to loose the roof and be a cool speedster, or go Viper coupe and give it a double bubble roof. Other than that nice looking if somewhat less practical car that no doubt would offer nothing substantial that you could not have in the regular car. Anybody want to guess if it will cost more or less than the regular car?

Something tells me it'll cost a bit more than the standard hardtop. Especially if they keep the JCW motor and upscale leather interior.

Hoping the boot has a bit more slope to it, so as not such a harsh angle... but other than that, looks promising.

I think it would look really good if they completely redid that roof!

Coupe? I don't think so

I'm in agreement with the original poster. This isn't a coupe, it's a toupe.

The more rakish windshield angle is good. I like the lower roof line. Ditch the rest of the roof and use a standard one with a bit of tilt down at the rear and they'll have it.
