Should we add another monthly ongoing MINI Meet?

Would it be a good idea to add a Sonic or other location MINI meet every 1st Thursday of the month at 8 or something to offer those who can't make it to the MINI Mornings meets every 3rd Sat? What-y'all-think?

I'd like that. There are Sonic's at Polaris or central near Riverside Hospital on Olentangy River Rd.

There's one over by Easton in the Giant parking lot. Since I haven't made it to one of these yet I'm not sure if the extra room would be a good thing or not.

One just opened on East Broad by Mount Carmel East as well. Not having been to sonic more than once or twice should I be worried that they are making regular appearances by hospitals?

It sounds like fun to add another meet, but what about when it starts getting colder? Are there any Sonics with indoor areas?

I love our Sonic get togethers. Maybe we could find an indoor option after October-- such as the Dairy Queen on Bethel near Sawmill. It has a large indoor eating area.

I like the idea of us meeting at the Polaris Sonic.

We've already had a couple small meets there, it's close to Quaker Steak and Lube, and when the weather gets cold, we could just have our monthly nightly get together at QS&L instead.

I like the Polaris Sonic location too.

IMHO QSL sucks sump oil. I think they then use it to fry roadkill. They do have a nice parking area, so I guess that is something.

Great idea Aaron.

I think at least once a week at a Polaris or Easton eatery is long overdue.

What is everyone doing tonight?

I vote for Sonic at Polaris the first Wednesday of every month and keep the breakfast at Tim Horton's in New Albany on the third Saturday of every month. That would let us Silverback's get our cholesterol under control between donut and cheeseburger schedules

I've added that file to the non-club archives. Circular file #13.

After noting the precise administrative action used to decide this event, I took initiative and added it to the Mid-Ohio Motoring Calendar.

Cool. We are planning on going at the moment then. Probably won't be up there until 730 due to our daughter's cheer practice though.

I travel to Columbus regularly for business (from Cleveland), but am now encouraged to rent cars rather than have fun in the Mini. Anyway, I'd like to meet up with the group sometime so I'll keep an eye on the calendar and will stop by when I am in town. Great idea.
