Cleveland Mini Detailed

A friend of mine has a little detailing thing he does on the side and he did a Mini this past weekend. Here are some pictures:

He is self taught, but is very detail oriented in everything he does. He also has an odd garage (FJ Crusier, C230, 90's Previa, and I think a new Camery)

Here is his method for under the hood.

[FONT=Arial]To clean the engine - i use Meguiar's All puprose cleaner ( green in color ) diluted 2:1. you can use any citrus based cleaner as long as you dilute with water. Zep citrus from home depot is good. Purple power is too strong to use. The engine bay had rustproofing splattered all over. I presoaked the cool to the touch engine with the degreaser and with variety of brushes, bucket of water and rags, i cleaned it. I never use high pressure water to rinse the engine area, just a mist.. Then I use a product called CD2 engine detailer that you can buy at autozone. spray that on, let sit then buff with a cloth.[/FONT]
