The Pub on the 6th?

Is anyone planning on going up north for the Pub event?

Robb and I are going but we're only taking the BRG. The LRW is staying home.

We'll be heading up I-71, what time is everyone leaving? Maybe we could get a MINI caravan on the trip up and/or back? I haven't decided how early we'll be leaving just yet...

See you guys there. I think I'd waste time driving down south to just turn around and drive north west ---- Just in case you get lost and want my cell pm me. I know how confusing the north can be to you guyz.

I'M IN! So just got the schedule confirmed. Max and I, and my totally jealous boyfriend who wishes he had a MINI are leaving Friday afternoon, staying the night and headed back Saturday by 1pm as we've got other things going on.

I'm pretty sure we will be heading up to the Pub this weekend. But we are coming from Urbana and we will be breaking the car in so we probably won't be much fun to caravan as we will have to vary the speeds a little. We will see you there!

Hi Chuck -
So I know you are headed to Gambier on Saturday and not up to the Pub but I figured you would be the one to ask if you have a recommendation for a route up to Cleveland rather than 71? I know I can go up US-62 to OH-83 to OH-585 and of course I can figure it out. But I'm sure you have a favorite route.
Thanks - Motor on!

Sharon,

I'd recommend taking SR 3 north out of Hooterville until you get to Seville. From there take Interstate 76 / US 224 west one exit to Interstate 71 north.

SR 3 is a nice drive until you hit Seville. From there on it gets too congested to continue north on SR 3. That is the time to hit the interstate.

Have fun!

Details on your MINI... maybe we'll meet up along the way (coming from Dayton area). We'll be in the CR/B Clubbie.

09 CR\B JCW Hardtop. Hopefully have some pictures soon. Which way are you coming? We haven't decided if we want to take a more scenic drive or go up boring I71.

Chuck's drive might be interesting but I have no idea where Hooterville is ,but I'm guessing I would like it!

Due to the length of the drive, we're prob taking the boring route there and then maybe the more exciting route home... all depends on the feel of the morning and timing. Sorry, not much of an exact answer! We'll look for you!

You already gave me the Beerlympics Medal. What more could a gal need?

Well did anyone make it up there? Sorry if we didn't get to meet you if you did. Maybe at one of the breakfast meets.

We got there so early we were the 5th or 6th there. We left the house at 5:45 am (keep in mind we often go to bed at this time 2nd shifters). We decided to go up i71 because it is the fastest way there. Big mistake because I forgot how insanely boring i71 is .

The Pub was delicous we would recommend the fish and chips and the fried pickles. The parade was very cool and it was awesome to see so many MINI's driving in a pack. The faces of the people in the Rocky River park as we went by was priceless. The MINI just seems to make people smile and wave.
