Anyone know of a good place to go in the Baltimore area for an oil change? I was gonna take it to Towson Mini (cuz their awesome!) but I'm a little strapped for cash and $125 really isn't on the books right now, but she needs a change.
I've found my curbside to be the best and cheapest place for an oil change.
Yours should be just as good, unless you have a driveway or garage (even better).
I just completed the oil change, and despite what nightmares I had read about, it was a breeze. Just need the 36mm cartridge oil filter socket, and that cost $10 at Pep Boys, and it didn't explode or slip or anything. I'm no mechanic, and is was not stressful AT ALL!!! BTW it was on an R53, not sure what it's like on the later generations.
The oil change is actually easy. My big complaint is getting the filter housing threaded perfectly.... or maybe I am just really nervous about cross threading.

Any help is much appreciated!
Thanks!
$125 for an oil change?!?
The Oil filter kit is $10
a quart of Mobil 1 is around $4. You'll need 5.
Do it yourself and save $100 or so.
It's actually very easy to do. The only hard part is the 36mm nut on the oil filter housing.
Ended up just taking it to the dealership unfortunately...I'd prefer to do it myself, but I live in an apt right now, and they kinda frown on doing anything to you car in the parking lot...
We'll see what happens come the next time to change the oil...
