We'll be doing our first (annual?) poker run on Saturday, July 11. For those who haven't heard of this kind of event, you basically drive around the countryside visiting different stations and collecting playing cards. At the end of the event the team with the best poker hand wins a prize. We'll have food and drink at each station.
This isn't any sort of race or rally; it's more an excuse to get in your car, drive around some nice roads, stop and chat every 20 minutes or so. It should be a good time.
The event will definitely end up here at the Mach V shop in Sterling. I haven't decided where it'll start yet. I'll have other details up as the date gets closer.
Time will be from noon until around 4pm. Again, I'll firm these details up, so check back to this thread.
The Poker Run was a blast! We had a good number of cars (seven MINIs in all, plus some other vehicles driven by Mach V staffers and helpers). MINI owner Justin walked away with a $100 Mach V gift certificate.
