MINI in Northern Michigan, How to Service?

MINI in Northern Michigan, How to Service?
Just moved to northern Michigan, Traverse City area.
Sold my 2002 Cooper S in Dallas prior to the move, but must have another.
Apparently there are no dealers within about 250 miles, but I do see a few on the road.

1) Can anyone recommend a place to get the Mini serviced in Traverse city or the general area?

2) I know that I shouldn't ask, but can the Mini exist in the snow of northern Michigan?

Blendersport,

Check out www.michiganmini.org. All your questions will be answered there. And yes, MINIs in the snow are a blast!!

Chad-
Buying my 1st mini tomorrow, 2003 MCS with 75,000. Current owner took it in for fianl oil change this week and they recommended service check at ~$750 Sounds pretty steep.
Do you do that kind of work? Where are you located?
