Who actually owns/controls the old domain name (michiganmini.com) ?
Perhaps with the registered owners assistance we could get the DNS for it directed over to the new home. That way anyone who hasn't heard the word through here or otherwise will get automatically get redirected the next time they attempt to visit the old site. Thoughts?
Regards-
Randy

If someone has access to the old server, surely they can resurrect the database enough to "export" the old records.

One small problem with that...
The new site would have to be killed and phpnuke installed to accept the db information or someone could copy and paste all the info from old to new site. I'll be here if you need me.

NO more death If need be copy paste, thats if we can get the old DB
I was talking more of a copy/paste sort of thing. I'm familiar with MS Access DB's, and I would have to assume the old site uses a MySQL database. So, it'd be a matter of exporting and converting the database to have the fields match, and of course some sort of date conversion, and then there are any funny storage conventions...

Or even a one time dump of email addresses from the old site to a flat file to contact members with the new sites URL .
