New London to New Brighton - on THIS side of the pond!
Hello fellow motorers!
I wanted to stop by and let you know that your MN neighbors are planning our second New London to New Brighton Rallye to be run alongside the same event by the New London and Surry Minis across the pond. We're looking to up the ante and have as many MINIs/minis as possible. It sounds like we have a little bit of help from MINIUK this year, as they sent us an email asking about the event!

Last Year the MINISota Motoring Society - currently 'Sota MINIs - held its first New London to New Brighton Rallye and MINI Run in conjunction with the London and Surrey Mini Owners Club. Run the day before the London to Brighton Mini Run, the NL2NB was a smashing success. Last years participants sporting the Car Placards, Tee Shirts, and comemorative window
stickers of the British event made the 140 mile drive through scenic
landscapes and twisting roads, also attended by a contingent of the
Iowa MINI Group.
This years event again with similar goodies will again run the Day before the British Event on May 20th. We would like to invite any and all MINI's to our event. We can promise you great roads and a really fun drive through Minnesota's Lake Country. Ending in New Brighton Minnesota, a suburb of the Twin Cities.... A few Hours wonderful drive from the Chicago Metro. For
those that are up for it a slight diversion at La Crosse, WI and then North along the River will add slightly longer drive time but will reward you with a wonderful scenic vista of the upper Mississippi River Valley, where you might catch a glimpse of a Bald Eagle.
Its a week-end drive that will charge your senses with wonderful
scenery, and a fun event... plan to join us.....
