Yup yup yup. I just placed an order with Julie at Classic MINI.
2006 MCS PH/PH
edit: oh.. and Jason is officially up for adoption. If you know a kind family that is in the market for a well behaved 2003 Cooper, direct them my way. Jason has a thread in the Marketplace with all his specifics.
Hmmm, looks like it'll be week 4 at the latest because I wanted to get in under the 'Space Cloth' deadline.. that should make for a late February delivery.

Welcome to the BEP/Purple Haze club. Can't wait to see your new ride
Congrats Stef, you are going to love it! I drove Vader today for the first time and I feel that the trip I made was waaaay to short! You should definately name it Grimace!
1. Thank you, thank you I've been oogling Merlin for long enough. Its time for me to join the group!
2. The silver roof - I would have gotten silver if I hadn't gotten the sunroof. I like how the sunroof blends into the black roof. Black roof wasnt an option, so I went for the next closest... the purple haze
3. Theres only one PPE! I can't take the plate. It IS quite genius though.
4. Thanks Should be a week 4 production and I'll take delivery before the end of February
5. Thanks (one more time ) I've test driven a MCS before and I'm sooooo happy to finally be getting one. Whats that saying... third times the charm
Congrats Stef. Have fun and try to stay sane during the wait. I think Grimmace is a perfect name!

And congrats on the decision! I'm glad more PH's are being bought now... women look so cute with them! It's too bad the colors going to go though

Thanks guys I'm not sure about the name Grimace... we kind of have a tradition of naming cars after male actors. So far theres been:
Richard Gere (2000 Audi A4)
Tom Selleck (1995 Audi 90)
Jason Statham (my current 2003 MINI Cooper)
Clive Owen (my current 2005 Audi A4)
Pierce Brosnan (my moms Mazda RX-8)
This one might be named Patrick (as in Dempsey). So Grimace or Patrick... Grimace or Patrick... I think I need to meet him first

Hey, congratulations, Stef! You could always name him after that other famous actor, Barney, the Purple Dinosaur. "I love you, you love me, oh, how happy we will be, blah, blah, blah."
Grimace is famous, that is for sure. Post a pic and anyone will know who he is. And he has been in commercials before, so he is an actor. Now the final question is.... is he actually a HE.
And I brought up the 1I1Horn because I don't think PPE actually took that plate it was just one of the suggestions that came up. I would never suggest using someone elses plate.
