Umm.... well I have to wash Kitt Vader, she is fubll of nasty bug splatters.. What are you up to tomorrow? Me and Rye plan on doing the Thumb Tour.. I caught on to driving a stick rather quickly..I spent the whole day practicing on my launches, I did peel out once and that was leaving the Resturaunt and appears Rye and Christian could hear me about a mile away. I'm loving thr H/K, sounds like I could go pimping, but I will post more pics in my gallery when I am well rested and I put on the Hyperblack Exel Radius wheels tomorrow.. also it will be washed.. So far I have 232 miles on the odometer since taking delivery.
Zak is coming over tomorrow - we have to wash and de-bug from the trip back from Classic MINI (Julie RULES!)
My Mom's "Stealth" is Dark Silver Cooper S convertible with black stripes and silver S-lites with the two-tone gray/black leatherette and anthracite dash. I'll snap some fresh pics tomorrow!
The Convertible is very different from the regular hatch MINI. It's much more plush and comfortable with the squishy suspension (the "sport" not "sport plus"). The new-for-'05 transmission gearing I'm still not fond of, 1st gear is an embarassment if you give too much throttle around a corner, though the limited slip differential does help reduce wheelspin lots. The new-for-'05 seats are actually lots more supportive and comfortable than the older design, though the new "armrest" on the door is 200% in the way compared to the old minimal pad. The three spoke wheel is nice to grab, but the "nintendo" style multi-functions are a joke to use, even with my extradexterous fingers, lol.
Well, that's enough for now. Overall, the convertible will be perfect for my Mom versus my beast of a MINI, MM2 I will be adding H-Sport springs, an ALTA 15% pulley, a GBO, and EBC Green brake pads to "Stealth" before handing over the keys. I can't keep it stock, it wouldn't be right! LOL!
She's joining the caravan down to NC as well, right? Wish I woulda known that you two were getting cars today, I would have tried harder to get up and out to Classic.
I can stop by after work Tuesday (tomorrow) but can't make it Wednesday. See you there! Yes 13 Mile and Woodward. I guess I'll bring Stealth, now ridin' on H-Sport springs
