Put In Bay??

Hi, I am part of the Burning River MINI group and some of us are throwing around the idea of doing a MINI weekend in Put In Bay next year after Labor Day (off season rates and a fun "season closer"). I was wondering if anyone in this neck of the woods would be interested in partaking in such an event since PIB is about half way between Detroit and Cleveland? Might be fun to get 2 areas together and see what kind of ruckus we can make!! Please let me know in a PM or a post on our PIB thread what thoughts/interest is! Thanks!!!

I would definitely be interested. PIB is not far from me! Are you thinking to take the cars across on the Miller Ferry?

i shot an email out to Miller ferry to see if some kind of "deal" can be made (still waiting to hear back) since MINIs won't take up much room on the ferry (it can be a contest-instead of how many jellybeans are in the jar, how many MINIs on the ferry!)...depending how much interest we get, the sky is the limit...car show? drive on the mainland before heading over the island (I was thinking Marblehead lighthouse would be a great place to meet if there was a drive first)? I will throw up more posts as I learn more and as plans get hashed out...
