Busco mi Mini! It was a full blown SCCA race car for the GT-5 class.
Sold to someone in Mexico in around 1993-5 time frame. Don Racine of Mini Mania sold it ~ to whom I do not know.
I would like to find it and converse with the current owner, maybe even buy it back!
It had a full cage, ATL fuel cell, modified front suspension, with a raised steering rack on the interior of the car, coil-over Carrera spring independant suspension on all corners, stock rear trailing arms, good motors, split Webers, lots of great stuff - Tilton brakes and inside mounted master cylinders.
Was painted a light brown, cream roof, with 13" Revolution wheels. Flush mounted rear windows in plastic, fiberglass nose and removable hood section, Fortech style fender flares.
