Since Mini Mexico (BMW Mexico) seems to be the only place where they picked funny names for the different trim levels, how about:

The Chili, Salt and Pepper Mini Club?

For people in other countries, Mini calls their trim levels Salt (basic) Chili (sport) and pepper (luxury)

Actually, it seems that in Europe (or at least the UK) they use the "seasonings" to label the trim levels as well.
The strange thing is that in Europe, "Pepper" is the sport package whereas "Chili" is the premium package (which as you know includes the sport package), in other words, the opposite of in Mexico.
I actually think their names make more sense, as they label ascending trim levels with ascending intensity of seasoning. (salt-pepper-chili)

didn´t know they also used the funny trim level names in europe.

Does that mean our cars are "european spec" in terms of equipment or are these specially built for Mexico?

Where are all you Mexican Mini owners at??? A bunch of us have been meeting for two months now....

Most of us are chilangos, but many are joining from nearby cities. We will be going to San Luis Potosí in a tour/rally/slalom trip.

We are forming a club and we are organizing a race day, see details at http://www.mundomini.com

Cheers!!!
