Ok, so it has been some time now that we havent had any new post in the Mexican forum, so lets talk about getting together soon, or just say hello so we know that you are happy.
I sold my car to one of Mexminime's friends for a good price, enough to buy another identical new one in the U.S. (So in reality It's a pretty good trade-off)
Missing it a lot, though!
I'm currently deciding what U.S. dealer to order my new one from..
Definitely need to have a meeting soon. I´d recommend a goodbye party for Calvin and Nancy as soon as he recovers from surgery.
Calvin´s Mini will be invited to the party, of course.
Anybody knows when is the premiere of Italian Job here?
... only sad thing is that this week my Mini is grounded. The rain is so hard that my way home from the office gets at least 4 lagoons (seriously). Dont want to risk it.
Calvin I actually forgot to ask you something about your car: was it affected by the recall campaign (the one where they have to replace the screws from the rear suspension)
I'm not sure if my car is affected by the recall, I checked the door panel but couldn't find the production date. I haven't received anything in the mail, though.
I asked about the Italian Job today, at Cinemex they told me it would probably premiere in the first or second week of July.
I'll be back around the 15th of July, hopefully in time to see the movie. A farewell MINI party sounds like a great plan!
