It's set! Mini or Not, the next Metroplex Mini get together will be
hosted by the Manager of the Addison Flying Saucer!! Mark down
Saturday the 24 on your calendar for 5PM. Unfortunately I will not be
in the country that week. The manager's name is John and he is
ordering his MINI now and is also a member of our group. Help put the
word out. I know there are now several MINIs in the area and the list
will be growing. He said he can rope off a area for us to park too so
hopefully someone can give him an idea to how many will be there from
the posts replied here. (I leave this Sunday)
The Flying Saucer is located at the SW corner of Monfort and Belt
Line in Addison.
We will also have another in mid September. I recall three of us will
have our Coopers by then!

I will be joining the DFW owners group shortly. I purchased a MCS from a dealer on Long Island..ordered it in early June...he already had it on order..Pure Silver, matching top w/black mirrors, aero kit, 17" alloy wheels, all packages including cold weather, Navigation, PDC. We flew up to NY on August 1st, took posession the next day and drove it home, back to Dallas.
That was a great break in drive. Looking forward to meeting some of you soon.
