You will not be disappointed!!!!!
Each Fall the Arkansas MINI Owners Klub (AMOK!) hosts the region’s biggest MINI event in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. Now in its third year, the Merry MINIs on the Mountain event draws MINIs from all over the U.S. to experience the awesome fall scenery and wonderful curvy roads of the region. This year is shaping up to be the best yet with expanded drives and more activities! We have mapped out two distinct drives that offer participants a variety of activities suited to their tastes.
The Arkansas Pig Trail
Our world famous, Arkansas Highway 23, or better known as "The Pig Trail" is just one of Arkansas' premier roads designed for ultimate enjoyment when behind the wheel of your MINI. A road that is meant for both spirited and cruising speeds.
Arkansas Wine Country
Many Arkansas wineries are located on St. Mary's Mountain in the nearby community of Altus. It has multiple wineries that offer daily tastings and a viriety of fabulous food. One of which being some of the best German food in Arkansas.
What The Weekend Holds
The weekend will begin with a "Meet & Greet Cocktail Party" at Mt. Magazine State Park Lodge. Then on Saturday morning we drive out on our chosen routes to enjoy the fall foliage and beautiful Arkansas weather. After the drives on Saturday, a 60's costume party, in honor fo the 50th birthday of the MINI, will be held back at the lodge. (Costumes are encouraged, but not manditory) There will be music, raffles for MINI oriented prizes, and a Silent Auction.
Can someone please post the 'schedule', more specifically the drive details. I see the routes on the merry minis site, but I'm thinking of driving up on Saturday morning instead of Friday so would like to know when the different drives begin, thanks.
