    Hi,

If you have 2016 or so MINI Cooper S(F55/56) and have fitter steering wheel with paddle shifters and coded Sport AT, I may need your help.

If shifts of the AT are quicker/better, could you please test something. I have 2016 MCS F55 without paddle shifters and no launch control. Theoretically my can't isn't coded for Sport AT. It shifts pretty good in sport mode, so before I even go through the hassle of coding transmission, just wanted to compare something with your car.

    Please try the following:
    1) Put car into Sport Mode
    2) Move shifter into S/M, but don't do manual shifting, let car do it
    3) Let the car roll at about 5-7 MPH and step on the gas fully and don't let go until you hit 90 MPH.
    4) Record the shifts, at what RPMs and at what speed. Results of my car:

Gear- S1 to S2 at 4000 RPM and at 20 MPH
Gear S2 to S3 at over 61/6200 RPM and at 50 MPH
Gear S3 to S4 at over 61/6200 RPM and at 85 MPH

I let the car hit 90 MPH and then slowed down. Test ended

    Hey there,

I was looking at your blacked-out F60. I love the look!

If you don't mind, regarding the grille:

I was wondering if the "S" has a molded-in placeholder for the S to sit on, or if it is removable so the honeycomb grill can be plain. Does that make sense?

    Thanks for your time!

    Hey,

My name's Daniel. Joined this past week but have had my Mini for a few months and have gotten a bunch of help from these forums. Only recently took the plunge and joined.

I saw your car audio thread and figured you were the person to ask. I'm planning on getting the Kicker 40css654 components. I read that there will have to be some modification in order to fit the tweeters. Is that the only way for them to fit or can I somehow preserve the stock look for the speakers?

    Thanks for your time.

Edit: Sorry for posting here, still getting used to the forum. Couldn't find "send private message". Feel free to delete. (After answering of course )
