Berkshires/Green Mountains Fall Run I - Oct 5

The main post for this event is at:
http://nemini.org/index.php?topic=11557.0

For anyone interested, on Sunday, Oct 5th there will be a MINI run in northwestern MA and southern VT. The wetlands red maples are in full color and the rest of the hardwoods are turning now up there, and the long-range forecast for next Sunday is good, so let's go motoring!

Details to follow, but figure that we will meet in Great Barrington at 930am and then head north to Bennington, VT or maybe Manchester, VT, and then head east and drop down Vt Rt 8 to Vt Rt 100 toward the Sherman Reservoirs and then back. Perhaps a stop at the Bennington war monument for a brown-bag lunch? Figure four hours at the wheel. Anyone with insight or suggestions, weigh in please. I will road-test the final route later in the week.

Anyone up for this? Send me a PM here or post a message in the nemini thread.
