Hi all! We have arranged October's Manitoba MINI Meet coffee talk.
When: Sunday, October 25th, 2:00 pm
Where: Cafe de Sol, 2037 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg (across from Assiniboine Park footbridge & Sargeant Sundae)
What: Dyrk Bolger, who completed the 2009 Newfoundland Targa, will share his experiences with the Targa, with racing in general, and what it takes to finish.
How long: At least 1 hour. If we get group consensus, we'll go for a mini MINI cruise through the park.

Hi:
I will attend the MINI coffee meet and look forward to the discussion on the Targa Newfoundland. Our MINI Cooper is now in storage for the winter, so I will use the smart fortwo. While the two cars are totally different in character, I will say that they are both iconic in design.

A technical difficulty has arisen. Cafe de Sol is closed for renovations. I suggest that we still meet there, then cruise to an alternate location. I will work on a site for that alternate, but would appreciate any suggestions. Where would be a good place in Winnipeg to meet where Dyrk could give his presentation?

Thank you Dyrk for the amazing presentation for our October meet! I loved hearing all about Targa racing and seeing all the video. Those who could not attend missed a great info session! I thought I'd love to race in the Targa, but after all your stories, I'm not so sure anymore!
