"The Last Ride" October 5th!

The Manitoba Mini Club is invited to our event! The BMW Club of Manitoba is planning an event for Sunday, October 5th. It is called the "Last Ride". We will be meeting at Birchwood BMW at around 2:00 pm. There will be some time to hang out and meet new people before we head off for a cruise.

The plan is to head out from Birchwood to River Road north of the city. We will follow the scenic winding route of River Road to Lockport. Once at Lockport, we will head over the bridge to the Half Moon on Henderson Highway for burgers, socializing, and photos. From there we will head back down Henderson to the city.

That was a nice shot of Bucky you got from the cruise last fall ...thanks for sharing.

Now I'm wondering about the other picture...do my eyes deceive me, or is that an AUDI at the tail of the pack there?

There were a couple Audi guys last year who tagged along. They don't have a group of their own yet and are frineds with many of the BMW guys.

Sad to hear you were alone - but I assume you were at the front of the pack by half way! Flights were changed for a visitor, and I could not make it out.

How are we for a monthly gathering?

I see minis everywhere in Winnipeg - we should be able to get four of us out!

I would be all in for this! Let's set up one morning on a weekend once a month...we'll meet for breakfast or lunch, and we'll try and keep it going all year long.

I was thinking that we might be able to build up a bit of a presence and culture for the new MINI club and maybe get some kind of annual event going if we can build it back up. Any suggestions for a monthly meet. Most of my weekend days/times are good.

What say you?
