I posted earlier on this subject but somehow the post disappeared.
There is a Vintage race weekend at Gimli Motor Sports Park August 23rd 24th with opportunities for show and shine, parade laps around the track, fun autocross, as well as pace car opportunities to lead the race cars.
This is the tenth year of this particular celebration weekend with race cars coming from the USA, Saskatchewan, Ontario and of course our own. Typically British car clubs come out and there is a nice showing with representation from the Classic Mini Club, Austin-Healey club, and Triumph Drivers club.
There will likely be Classic Minis racing and there are usually some BMW MINI COOPERS in attendance.
Perhaps we can organize a drive and picnic at the Gimli Motor Sport Park on the Saturday or Sunday. By the way, camping is free and entrance to the event is minimal (something like $5.00 or maybe $10.00 per car).
Food for thought.
Cheers,
Dyrk.

Problem is, I'm likely going to be out of the country that weekend , but if someone else wants to step up to organize something then, that would be a fun time for sure.
