Car show to meet at?

Here recently, I've been noticing a car show at the Food lion on Ashley Phosphate on the Week nights. I think that they meet once a month. I would be cool if we had a few MINI's there to talk and gather some interest. There is also the one at Bessingers on the First Wednesday of every month. I think the Food lion one has more room to park etc.. I agree that the MINI scene and gathering is kind of non-existant and we have to just start somewhere.

How about a monthly meet and mod at someones house? Bimonthly? I am game for that as soon as my nephew's car is out of the driveway.

Chad

sounds good to me. The bessingers meet is pretty much a classic car/hot rod show. Ive been to it and they didnt even let me in the parking lot. Ive never seen the food lion one, sounds promising. but a monthly mod party would be sweet. sad thing is my new place doesnt allow working on any cars......

so, how does installing my new water meth kit sound for the test run chad? :P

That's what I kinda thought about Bessingers. I'll stop by Food Lion and check on the info for the car show.

That's cool, we just need to look at the instructions before hand...We'll talk more on that. I got to get my nephew in gear about his car, dang lazy kids.

Most of the shows are Wed or Sat nites and no good for me (working ) however, have any of you went to anything at the dealership? They are having a "Pumpkin Pancake Party" Oct 13th 10am-Noon. Sounds like they are going to be having breakfast, I'm gonna try to drop by there and at least steal a donut n coffee to check it out , also going to the show at Patriot's on the 27th. I'd really like to meet some more of you and check out the cars..

LOL Oh yeah man I agree, something just plain wrong with that orange mush in a pumpkin (dont even like the pie!) Like I said coffee and a donut, hehehe. However, I see that its the same day as the show at Texas Roadhouse registration 9-12), so keep that in mind.I was thinking maybe hit the MINI thing early then haul over to Rivers to check out the show before I have to go to work.
There's also a "fun-n-sun Cruise In" from noon-3 at the BigLots and Northern Tool parking Lot off Rivers near Aviation (the old Derriere's parking lot behind Mickey D's) this Saturday (Oct 6th) hosted by the Palmetto Chevelle and ElCamino club, (free, and open to all it says).

Hey was great meeting ya Chad, and I'll definitely be back to talk some more, maybe next Sat? isnt there another event at the dealer? I did snag a cup of coffee and a look at the new JCW. I'll post some pics I took at the ThunderRoad carshow later, didn't see any MINIs there but mine. Some very, very sweet rides there though, could've spent more time but had to bail to go to work

Mike,

Yeah, I was thinking that the British car show day at Patriots point was next weekend, but it is the following....So I might have to drop in at the dealer and check out some of the costumes on the cars. It's always good to put an online name with a face and hopefully we can gather some more depending on your work schedule....For as particular as MINI owners are about their cars, getting us together has seemed to be a challenge....
