Hey everyone! My name is Brian and I just wanted to see what kind of MINI scene there is down here. I just recently moved for Maryland and I am a member of DCMM up there and they are always having some sort of event. Is the Charleston area like that also? I noticed that the thread here is not very active, is there some other forum that people go to talk besides on NAM?
Oh and I live in the Summerville area and I have the license plate ACTLSIZ so if you see me wave or honk!
I live in Columbia, but I am in Charleston all the time. There are definatly alot of MINIs down there, definatly check out Turky's Classic Minis. I am part of MINI motoring club of the Carolinas. We only have one member down in Cahrleston (LowcountryS), but we want more so check out our forum. no rule you cant be part of both clubs

Welcome MiniB!El Griton is correct about the MINI scene here, lots of cars, but there seems to be little interest in the Motoring scene though, . I really would like to change that and try to get some local stuff going, (though not many twisties near the beach ). There are a couple of shows coming up, check the threads here and in the M2C2 (Mini Motoring Club of the Carolinas) thread, they are very active and have stuff going on all the time ( went to Caesar's Head State Park couple of weeks ago with them was great fun!).
Anyway welcome to the Chuck! and since you come from up near DC I dont have to tell about downtown after dark! Be safe and Happy Motoring! LCS
