Nearing the end of a 5 year build...

Hey everybody! I got my JCW Hardtop in January of 2012. After more revisions than I can count, and often replacing mods and constantly improving quality as I went, here she sits.

Current mods on the car are:
Brakes, Suspension & Wheels
  • OEM brakes, painted Lamborghini Verde Mantis, finished with black Brembo decals
  • Öhlins Road & Track coilovers w/ Vorshlag camber plates
  • Work CR Kiwami, custom satin bronze powder coat
Exhaust
  • ardesign catless downpipe
  • Invidia Q300 exhaust
Exterior Appearance
  • OEM black grille trim/headlight/taillight rings, vinyl black headlight washers
  • Color keyed door handles, Justa Cooper gas cap
  • Justa Cooper side scuttles
  • OEM Blackline taillights and side markers
  • Mirror caps painted Lamborghini Verde Mantis
  • OEM Halo DRLs
Interior
  • GP2 steering wheel
  • JCW shift **** and handbrake with Alcantara boots
  • JDM Recaro RS-G Alcantara seats
  • Custom Alcantara color line to match Recaro seats
  • Rear seat delete

And here are some photos! Follow me on Instagram for more updates @mantismini!

If you deleted the rear seat, you have more flex in the body while cornering. Did you installed a brace?

I'm part of that not-growing segment for sure. I purchased a Mini because it is small and quirky, and I purchased my Honda Pilot because it is big and reliable. Everyone has their reasons for what they would like to drive, and I can imagine a larger Mini being more comfortable and will likely change my mind some day as my kids legs get longer, though for me I like my Minis to be mini. (Whenever my kids see a 4 door Mini they call it a Biggie. No offense intended!)
