Just pick this up a couple of days ago
PO did an awesome job to get it where its at now. Bunch of suspension mods and a few other goodies. I come from a variety of cars. Within the last couple of years I've gone through a few cars. '07 wrx wagon>Volvo 245>E39 M5>NA Miata>'91 Volvo 745 turbo.
My 745 has been my DD up until recently my T-5 transmission (manual swap) has been acting up. The turbo (15g) has been smoking badly. So while this is being worked on I needed another DD. I sold my mx5 two weeks ago so I was looking for something asap. I've always loved the R53 and this clean example popped up in my search.
I couldn't be happier. This car is an absolute blast. Ironically, I won a mini tool box at a work seminar. My co-workers were dying, haha.

It was an awesome car.
It never stop pulling through the power band. I sold it with 89k and was a very clean example. Not quite sure why I sold it. I have two little young ones with a third on the way. I would find dried up milk and crackers in the seats and it would make me cringe. I loved it but needed something a little more practical. Plus there was the rod bearing and chain slap issues that worried me on constant basis. I'm glad I can say I've owned one.
