Hi Flow Catalytic Converter?

Anyone running a high flow cat on their car? I am considering the Milltek unit. Anyone know if this will throw a code on the car? Anyone have any knowledge on what to expect for performance gains? If any? Any input is greatly apprecaited.

Here is a link to the cat that i am looking at.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm not looking to tune the ECU so as to not void the warranty. I was just hoping to sqeek out a little more performance by opening up the exhaust system. I'm hoping that Akrapovic comes out witha Delete-R for the F56, although after writting them they told me that they don't have any plans to do so as of yet. I guess this is the proble, with owning the "new" model of a car. LOL

The Delete-R for the R56 weren't exactly perfect as it is. Some people had CELs come on anyway.

True, seems that way from what I've read on the forums.

If you look at the O2 bungs on Mario's picture you'll notice they are further out from the pipe than normal, that is how his pipe keeps the light away. If I had a F56, thats what I would be buying.

That's interesting because when i contacted MiniDynamics (http://www.minidynamics.com/) last week about the Manic Tune for the F56 the response i got was...

"The F56 Manic Tune will hopefully be available in the 1st quarter of 2016. The demand has just not been there until recently....it's in development, but there will be a fairly long testing period after the development and before a production release, just like the N14/N18 product release."

Not sure whats up, but seems like conflicting information.

For us dealers, the F series platform is going to be awhile, until Manic does a full release, next year. As of today I do have 8 F56 B48 and B46 downpipes with the Diverter Bung, I also have my huge intercooler ready to go. The IC is good for 500hp and is a complete bolt on with no cutting and easily can be reversed back to stock .

Is this IC as much of mess to install as they are on r series? That's what held me back from doing an IC change on my r59. By the way, your IC is massive.

Installing the IC is pretty normal, I should be about a 2 or 3 hour job. It is massive, keeping that boost chill

Catless down pipe works with oem exhaust and no CEL's (claimed).
Has a simulated cat "that fools" engine management.
A bargain at $590.00.

As long as it does not void warranty this is my choice with oem JCW exhaust.

Hi, They are $795 in Extreme 2300F Ceramic coated or $695 in a bare finish. Uses factory gaskets and both have a built in bung so the car doesn't through a check engine light mQubed Motorsport, Manic Tuning Dealer

I was actually talking about the intercooler.

Would be interested in a DP but only if you have a hi flow cat version.

Had no complaints and the quality is very good, the only thing noted it you are fitting with a Milltek F56 cat back you don't need the F5135 piece.

If you are doing just the DP on the stock exhaust , you will need F5135

Comes with fitting clamp also.
