Need help with Trailer Hitch
I have a 2004 JCW and want to put a hitch on it. Does anyone know any place in Los Angeles area that can put one on? Do I have to order a custom hitch? Also I want to tow a 4x8 uhaul trailer aobut 2300 miles, any advise? Thanks

I have a '06 MCS JCW, I installed a hitch from minidomore.com. You can install it yourself, or proabaly find someone that could do it. It is very easy to do if you feel comfortable removing your rear bumper to put it on.

Your MINI is only rated to tow 1000lbs, with a 100lb tongue wieght. I don't know what a 4x8 uhaul trailer wieghs or what you will have in it. But just be careful not to try to tow to much.
