JCW Side Scuttle Missing

I'm looking for passenger side JCW Side Scuttle. Mine has either fallen off or has been taken.

If any of you have bought a pair (since you cannot buy singles) and only needed the driver's side and would like to sell the passenger side, I'd be glad to buy it from you.

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Mike

I can't help because I have the same problem. My passenger side scuttle seems to have come out and was lost during my last road trip.

I'm gluing the next set to the carrier.

Hrmmm....I have the same problem on my MINI Cooper S...fell out maybe?

I might use a mild adhesive when I put it back.

That's funny my passenger side one took flight at about 80 mph on the freeway. I thought the car in front of me kicked something up until I pulled over and did a walk around. I thought I put it on wrong or something. Guess not! Just a crappy part.

Hope this will benefit anyone if you have experienced the side scuttle gone missing due to the loose clearances. I had already lost 2 off on the same side and they are costly for replacement.

Missing Scuttles

For everyone who has discovered a missing scuttle, welcome to the club. Just take it back to the dealer and explain what happened and they should replace at least the missing side, but probably both sides. Apparently, there has been an issue since the newly-remodeled scuttle was introduced in 2008, I think, and they should not give you any problems. If thery offer, let them install it while at the dealer..that way you will be able to say the install was from the dealer in case of a future issue. I went through all of that with no problems except one side had to be ordered.
