Problem of JCW Brakes with certain MINI Wheels :( ???

Recently I've been planning a few more "transformations" for my car..

Looking at picking up the JCW brembos, and wheels. My favorites, in order of preference, are:
- the 18in "star spoke" JCW wheels
- the 17in 2-piece R-90's
- the 18in double spoke wheels (polished)

NONE OF WHICH are supposedly compatible with the new jcw brakes. Ridiculous. I'm running the 17in Crown Spokes right now and THEY fit. yuck.

What exactly is THE issue ??? Would spacers solve the problem? If so, what size, 5mm, 15mm .. etc.

Thanks in advance, I'm sure there's a few people in my same boat, and a few people in a different boat with answers...

The issue is that the calipers are very large and will contact the spokes of the wheel. In most cases a large enough spacer will allow clearance, but you have to measure how tight things are to figure out how much of a spacer you need in a given application.
