Progression of power

When I first purchased my 2006 JCW, I had enough power to comfortably accelerate with like generation VW GTI's and earlier 4.6 liter Mustangs.

After I installed my cam and header, I was running with Honda S2000's and newer Mustangs.

After the RMW tune, I'm now on par with E46 M3's!!

Your are making me jealous. I wish I had the funds for a cam, header, and tune. Maybe in two years when my kids are out of college.

It'll have to wait until I feel like I have a bit better job security, but i think a head would be next. I'll have to do some more research, but Thumper and RMW are at the top of the list right now. Might be a couple years though. My car is thoroughly satisfying as it is right now.

>>Me Too and isnt it funny how they just look at you!! This weekend I switched out my JCW catback with a Milltek and it sounds just a wee bit better. I really cant tell much of a difference in power though, but the cam and the header from RMW not to forget the Tune, Really keeps a smile on my GP

Let me add a 2009 Subaru WRX to the mix. It was fairly even, though by 5th I was pulling on him. He was nice and waved as I pulled off....

Nicely put in context ;) What power are you now running then?

Is the new WRX faster than the older versions as I would have thought you would pull on earlier (2.0ltr) when you were stock 210JCW???

Looked like a newer one:

C/D TEST RESULTS:
Zero to 60 mph: 4.7 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 12.9 sec
Zero to 120 mph: 19.7 sec
Street start, 5-60 mph: 6.3 sec
Standing 1/4-mile: 13.5 sec @ 102 mph
Top speed (governor limited): 142 mph

Looking at it's performance numbers puts it in the same category as the aforementioned E46 M3, so it seems about right. Could have been a modded 2008 also I suppose, as they look quite similar.

Jan's website is seriously lacking and bears no resemblance to what he actually does/sells. Call him.
