Brake Mods

Greetings All,

After about a month of ownership, I'm loving my '08 MCS more every day... with one exception: I find the brakes a bit too "grabby". Note: I've got the JCW tuning kit, but the brakes are the standard S brakes.

Any suggestions for upgraded brakes?

Thanks, I'll look into these pads. Do you know if these will void out my warrantee?

I have not had any customers have issues with the Warranty however most dealers will not honor the service agreement on the brake system, free pads and rotors, if you change the pads, but many customers tell me they get more miles out of the CT pads and OEM rotors so it all works out for them.

the pads will only void the warranty on the pads. if there are issues with the calipers/rotors, then the warranty still applies.

I found that the JCW Sport Brake Kit was a lot less grabby, easier to modulate, and much more braking power.

Some people say that I will never get the money out of my MINI that I have put into it. I say, "I get my money's worth everytime I hit the ignition button".
