New JCW Owner

Greetings,

I am a proud new owner of a used '08 Mini Cooper S with the JCW Tuning Kit. What a fun car!

I'm wondering if the JCW Tuning Kit requires any special maintenance. A label on the engine states that the plugs need to be changed with every second oil change, but a sales guy I contact at a Mini dealership said this was not needed.

Any suggestions about this, or other maintenance info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

As far as I know, just the spark plugs.

Enjoy your car.

That interval for the plugs sounds a little excesive, check with a service advisor and he can give you a better idea. Otherwise just enjoy.

This sounds like a good idea. Service advisors would probably know more about this sort of thing than sales folks.
