Are you asking what to "look OUT" for, or what to "LOOK" for?

Supercharger rattles can (and eventually will) happen in any S, BTw.

The answer to either of these questions is a bit long.

In terns of 2003 a great find would be one that also has the JCW CAI and JCW 380 injectors. (210 kit) Other pluses if the have options like the JCW brakes, suspension, aero kit.

Not a specific JCW trouble but more of a MCS for the early years... tranny issues

There's no such thing as a "JCW Aero Kit" for 1st Gen MINIs.

Just the Aero Kit (as pictured, above). It was never sold as a JCW accessory.

2nd Gen MINIs are a different story - there is a JCW Aero Kit for 2nd Gen MINIs.
