JCW exhaust for MINI Cooper (non-S)

Hey,

I am wondering if anyone know JCW has come out an exhaust system for non S cooper? Does it sound good?

I am not talking about the sound kit though. (Too bad I have a 2002 cooper that won't fit the sound kit.)

As far as I know, the only JCW exhaust to fit the R50 is the exhaust from the sound kit.

Only the Sound Kit one exists.

Are you sure the Sound Kit isn't available for a 2002? They made two versions (pre and post 2005) with different air intakes. However, the Sound Kit is discontinued and can be obtained only from one of the dealers that bought out the remaining stock. The Sound Kit exhaust has its own part number (18100399689). Before the Sound Kit, there was a full JCW tuning kit for the R50 that included its own exhaust. http://www.motoringfile.com/2006/03/...ng-kit-review/ The exhaust was also sold separately and was called a "Sports Exhaust". I have an old accessories catalog that lists it at $695 (p/n 18100141760).

It should fit, Morristown MINI has them, it includes the air filter and stainless-steel sports exhaust, there is also special engine management software for improved response as well as John Cooper Works badges on the rear, on the air filter and the engine cover. For only $526!!!!!

There is a JCW exhaust that came with the JCW Tuning Kit for the MC 2002-2004. It looks similar to the stock exhaust except that it has a larger, welded-on chrome tip. The part number is 18 10 0 141 760 and originally listed for $675.
