GP's at MINI United Silverstone

There were upwards of 65+ GP at Silverstone for MINI United this year. Thanks to Mick and the UK GP club for hosting a meeting tent... ( sorry, ment to put in GP section )

The black is wrapped,, the white is painted

For some reason, my images won't post. If anyone has any care, they can view the link in my signature on page 2 or 3 for more gp's.

The white one is Blasphemy!
Black and white body panels?
The whole "blackout" treatment on the door handles, headlight trims, surrounds, mock brake ducts, lower and upper grills is a bit passe and instead of giving it the "blackout" effect it actually makes it contrast against the white paint.
And the "vintage style" row of stickers near the rocker...really? Are we in 1998 at Hot Import Nights? Was there HIN judges at MINI United giving points to the cars with the most stickers? (extra points for: fake carbon fibre, JDM look, TVs, excessive body kits, lambo doors, lowest springs, hydraulics, 20+wheels, ICE, 3,000 watt stereo, fancy paint schemes, chrome, can't forget huge wings) I thought that really old school prehistoric meathead fad had gone extinct. Even in 98 I thought it was a faux pas on a ''non-sponsored" street (mostly hondas) car. And the 20 inch wheels with rubber bands is not for looks, its pure performance I wouldn't doubt this car has the played out "Lambo Doors" As for the primer black with lime green, I like it. Not just because its a vinyl wrap and not paint, but because it looks better, more menacing despite the lime green accents. The white one is hideous and looks outdated.

Sorry, I felt compelled to rant at the bastardized GP that is untastfully modded.
