Received my US spec factory JCW 2 weeks ago here in Germany and the dealer installed the alcantara JCW Recaros. They had to load some new software but everything works (heated seat feature and airbags) and I have no warning lights (ie, airbag, sealtbeat, etc.). These seats make the car. They are simply awesome, although gettng in and out isn't as easy. But once you're in, they can't be beat. So comfortable and supportive. Look fantastic too. Well worth 2200 Euros.
On a sad note, I just shipped the car 5 days ago to the States. I headed to Vegas. I miss it already and only was able to get 600 miles on it before I shipped it. I did get to Nurburgring though for a easy drive, but did keep it at 100 mph and under en route and varied speed and rpms to not abuse it (that was hard to do).

Man i'm jealous of your seats!!! Though i am happy to know that they also have airbags and heating features, i tought that could be an issue. Do these seats come with airbags and heat features all the time or they are options you have to select?
Does that 2200 euros pricetag include software update and installation by the dealer?
I am really thinking about installing these seats, i find the OEM S seats to give no lateral support at all, i hate it. Plus I loooooove alcantara!!
Is this the company that could not get them though customs?
Has anyone done this stateside successfully? I agree the price is a bit steep, but hey if they work and have OEM fit n finish it is likely worth the price of admission.
Has anyone worked with the company shown above?
Interested in adding these to my next project car!
Nice. This has made my friend very happy. I'm almost positive he will be ordering these seats. I sure hope so cause I want his stock JCW seats worse than he wants these. Thanks Oxyblue

Just noting that your sig shows an 03 MCS. The 07+ R56 seats are different electrically and seat belts are different as well. Just an FYI that if he upgrades his R56 seats to these shown above, his seats aren't likely to be a bolt in on the R53 you own.
But hey, you might have a new R56 and the sig hasn't been updated. If so my bad!

Where are the pictures? I have a friend that wants some of these seats. I want him to get them so I can get his seats
No home computer now as I'm leaving here soon, so I can't upload pics to a government computer (all I have to use at the moment). Me in my JCW will be in Charlotte in June though!

They are basically the same as BMW Performance seats. By the way this pix is from 1 of 8 E30 M3 Turbo's built by Dinan taken at Bimmerfest. This interior is SICK! The seats were $5K alone.......this guy also owns 2 2002 Turbo's one he just got back full resto. Who says money cant buy you happiness..
