MCSCa JCW? Should I buy it?

I am looking at this 2006 MCSC a with JCW . I've been looking for threads on the automatic. I don't think it was a factory upgrade but rather a dealer kit because I don't see the red brakes. I am waiting to see the paperwork. I read due to emissions that the states didn't get the JCW for the auto. Is this true? Should I be concerned? Its an 06 with only 2000 miles with about a year of warranty left. They want the Canadian equivalent of $26000 USD.

I doubt there is any reason to be concerned. Looks like a nice car

I have 2006 MCSCa (not JCW) that I've modified to WAY beyond JCW HP and Torque, and have had no tranny problems so far - just passed 50,000 miles. The specs on the Aisin automatic transmission rate it at 236 ft-lbs (320 Nm) max... which is much more than a 1st Gen JCW will produce... unless highly modified.
